Ms. Fletcher (formerly Ms. Sandacz) has been practicing family law since 2016. Prior to joining Hostetter Strent LLC, Ms. Fletcher practiced family law as the Deputy Legal Director for Child Justice, Inc, a non-profit legal organization located in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Ms. Fletcher earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology – with a minor in Political Science – from Miami University in 2010, and her Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2014. While in law school, Ms. Fletcher was the Editor-In-Chief for the Syracuse University Impunity Watch Law Journal. In addition, she served as a certified student attorney at the Syracuse University College of Law Disability Rights Clinic, where her practice included family law matters in relation to individuals with disabilities. Ms. Fletcher also served as a Co-Chair of the Syracuse University College of Law Pro Bono Advisory Board and as the Chair of the Syracuse University College of Law Mentor Program.
Ms. Fletcher has represented clients in complex custody disputes as well as child support, spousal support, and alimony proceedings. She is also collaboratively trained to represent clients in Collaborative matters. Ms. Fletcher understands the emotional and financial complexities of separation and divorce and seeks to find solutions that are in the best interest of her clients and their families. In particular, Ms. Fletcher brings to Hostetter Strent LLC the dedication and compassion she gained previously in working with families where children and spouses were abused.
Ms. Fletcher is admitted to practice in Maryland, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Fletcher is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association. In 2019, Ms. Fletcher was selected to be a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County’s prestigious Leadership Development Academy, and she regularly volunteers with the District of Columbia Superior Court’s Family Law Self-Help Center.
Ms. Fletcher was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine and Washington D.C. Super Lawyers Magazine in 2021 and 2022.
