Ms. Grossberg earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, majoring in Finance, from the University of Florida. Ms. Grossberg concentrates her practice in all areas of family law including pre-separation advice, divorce, child support, spousal support, complex asset division, child custody disputes, petitions for protection from domestic violence, premarital agreements, post-marital agreements, and modifications. Ms. Grossberg is a detail-oriented attorney who enjoys working on creative solutions to complicated financial issues and brings her varied experience and tireless work ethic to the service of the firm’s clients. Ms. Grossberg’s experience in complex asset division includes helping clients navigate business valuations, business dissolution, IMF, IDB, and World Bank assets and benefits, tracing non-marital assets, and complex real estate holdings. Along with her financial acumen in family law cases, Ms. Grossberg is attuned to the emotional aspects of separation and divorce; she approaches the issues with care and compassion, but also with practical solutions. Ms. Grossberg is a trained collaborative attorney and has successfully resolved family law matters through mediation, negotiation, litigation, and collaborative law. 

 While in law school, Ms. Grossberg worked as a law clerk at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the National Labor Relations Board - Office of Special Counsel, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. As a student attorney with the University of Maryland's Immigration Law Clinic, Ms. Grossberg was a zealous advocate for her clients. Additionally, Ms. Grossberg worked with first time juvenile offenders as a volunteer with Baltimore City Teen Court and acted as Student Coordinator of the Maryland Immigrant Rights Coalition providing free legal consultations to the community. While at the University of Florida, Ms. Grossberg interned at Merrill Lynch.    

 Ms. Grossberg is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Ms. Grossberg was affiliated with Ms. Strent and Ms. Hostetter as their law clerk prior to being hired by them as an attorney in 2010. Ms. Grossberg is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, and the District of Columbia Bar Association. Ms. Grossberg was the co-chair of the Bar Association of Montgomery County’s Family Law Section CLE Committee and was previously a member of the Membership Benefits Committee. She has also been a member of the Montgomery County Inns of Court and was part of the inaugural class of the Bar Association of Montgomery County’s Leadership Academy. Ms. Grossberg has served as the Bar Association of Montgomery County’s liaison to the Montgomery County Commission for Women where she helped to organize free legal seminars on separation and divorce for the community and was instrumental in updating the Commission’s free legal handbook on separation and divorce. Ms. Grossberg regularly volunteers at the D.C. Superior Court’s Family Law Self-Help Clinic.  Currently. Ms. Grossberg is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Judicial Nominations Committee. 

 In 2020, 2021 and 2022, Ms. Grossberg was named a Top Divorce Lawyer by Washingtonian Magazine, and was recognized in the 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Ms. Grossberg has been selected as a “Rising Star” (2012, 2016-2019) and as a “Super Lawyer” (2020-2023) by Maryland and Washington D.C. Super Lawyers Magazines. In June 2015, Ms. Grossberg was named a Bar Leader by the Montgomery County Bar Foundation in recognition of her service to the bar and legal community.
