Heather Hostetter was one of the lawyers featured in the November 2016 edition of Washington Lawyer the District of Columbia Bar Magazine, as a founding member of the Storybook Project, which enables inmate mothers and their children to stay in touch by providing the children with a recording of the mother reading her child a story.
